PRINCETON —
The Princeton Recreation Center began its Little League Basketball season on Dec. 17. This year, the varsity teams represent: Grants Supermarket, Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home, Recycle WV, Seaver Funeral Service, Smith-Lilly & Ball Attorneys, Weiss Trucking, Virginia Steel and Fabrication, and S&S Express. Junior Varsity teams represent: WV Pipeline, Hickman’s Pharmacy, Princeton Elks, Trueline Engineering, Shrewsbury’s Machine, Ramey Auto Group, Minova, , Princeton Rec. Center, and J&M Heating. With two teams being represented anonymously, the Scorpions in varsity and the Crush in junior varsity.
Teams will play at the Princeton Recreation Center, located at 201 Morrison Dr. in Princeton.
The next game will be on Jan. 3. Junior varsity play will feature Trueline versus Hickman’s for the 6 p.m. game; and at 7 p.m. the Princeton Elks will take on WV Pipeline. Varsity play starts at 8 p.m. and will feature Seaver Funeral Service versus Recycle WV.
Admission to the games is: adults $3, Students 18 and under $1, and children under 5 are free. All basketball and cheer coaches are admitted free of charge. For more information call 304-487-5040.
