PRINCETON —
The Princeton Tigerettes Basketball Team winning streak continued this week.
The last three games came on the road against Nitro, Parkersburg and most recently George Washington.
The following are short statistical reports for each game.
• On Jan. 4, Princeton traveled to Nitro and came away with a win, led by McKenzie Akers and Hannah Preservati. Both of these Tigerettes put up twin scores of 15 each, along with Kendria Perkins’ 15 boards. Akers would also tally 11 assists for a final score of, 66-45. • Saturday Jan. 7, the Tigerettes headed to Parkersburg another conference opponent and home to the Big Reds. Princeton would record a score of 59-48 at the hands of McKenzie Akers with 20 points followed close behind by Marissa Mullins with 19. Hannah Preservati would haul in 11 rebounds.
• Tuesday night, Jan. 10, 10th-ranked George Washington played host to Princeton, and the Tigerettes prevailed once again by score of, 64-51. Princeton’s fast offense saw four players in double-digit scoring. McKenzie Akers led the team with 21 points, along with Marissa Mullins’ 15.
Hannah Preservati and Kendria Perkins rounded out the night with 10 each. Cydney Graham pulled down nine rebounds. The AAA fifth-ranked Tigerettes are now sporting a 10-0 record and will play host to AAA eighth-ranked Spring Valley Friday night Jan. 13, tip-off is set for 7:30.
