2,000 Mercer County Appalachian Power customers lose power the day after Christmas

PRINCETON — 7 a.m. update: Appalachian Power now reports the number of Mercer County customers without power is less than 500. 

Appalachian Power reported at 6 a.m. Wednesday morning that 2,000 customers were without power in Mercer County. This story will be updated as more information about the outage becomes available.
