PSHS Student of the Month-December 2012

PRINCETON — Joseph Mills, son of Gary and Tina Mills of Princeton, has been selected as the Princeton Senior High School Student of the Month for December 2012.

Mills is a senior at Princeton Senior High School and is considering majoring in industrial engineering from an undisclosed school; after which, he is planning on attending a law school to obtain his degree and MBA. He hopes to one day be an owner/operator of a manufacturing facility. He is also considering majoring in biology and pursuing a career in the medical field.   

During Mills’ time at PSHS, he has been a part of the marching, concert, jazz, and pep bands, as well as the brass ensemble.

Mills has also been a member of the National Honor Society; and participated in the track and basketball teams. He was also a member of the Geography Bowl team, the Student Council, and Students Against Destructive Decisions.

Mills is active in the community with the Church Music Ensemble and CIA Youth Group activities. He assists with Confirmation Classes and volunteers for Southern Thunder. He is an AP Scholar with Honors and a member of All-County Band.

His interests include friends and family, his church, politics and technology, and economics/busniess. Joseph’s hobbies are golfing, weightlifting and ultimate Frisbee.
