Mercer County Schools Menu Dec. 10-14

PRINCETON — The menu for the Mercer County Schools for Dec. 10-14 includes the following lineup. Cost for adult breakfast is $2.85; adult lunch costs $3.75. Student meals are free. Milk only or extra milk costs students 25 cents.

Three components are to be taken by students from the menu. For nutritional information, contact the Child Nutrition Department of the Mercer County Board of Education at 304-487-1551, ext. 255.

• Dec. 10 - Breakfast: egg-and-cheese wrap, yogurt, fresh fruit or juice, milk. Lunch: pepperoni pizza, tossed salad, raw carrots w/dip, fresh fruit, fruit cocktail, juice pop, milk.

• Dec. 11 - Breakfast: blueberry mini loaf, cheddar cheese stick, oatmeal w/fruit, fresh fruit or juice, milk. Lunch: chicken nuggets, rice/vegetable casserole, baked beans, spinach salad w/grape tomatoes, fresh fruit, applesauce, milk.

• Dec. 12 - Breakfast: fruit and oat breakfast bar, hard-boiled egg and toast, fresh fruit or juice, milk. Lunch: cook’s choice or chef’s salad (turkey, ham, cheese, hard boiled egg, tomato, cucumber, red bell pepper), on a bed of mixed greens, roll, fruit, milk.

• Dec. 13 - Breakfast: maple waffle, fresh fruit or juice, milk. Lunch: country fried steak, biscuit(s), mixed vegetables, crunchy broccoli salad, fresh fruit, fruit in juice, milk.

• Dec. 14 - Breakfast: wheat bagel w/cream cheese, juice or fruit, milk. Lunch: corn dogs, macaroni salad, steamed carrots, caesar salad, fresh fruit, fruit in juice, milk.
