PRINCETON — Pipestem Resort State Park will welcome Jim and Valerie Gabehart Aug. 4 at 8 p.m. in the Amphitheater. After forming the group Steadfast in 1982 and performing bluegrass music throughout West Virginia and surrounding states for the next fifteen years, they took a break to rear their two children and are now back on the road. Join Pipestem Resort State Park on a 10-mile hike along the Bluestone River from the Mountain Creek Lodge to Bluestone State Park Aug. 4 starting at 10 a.m.
Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring snacks and water. Reservations to participate are necessary to arrange for shuttle service back to Pipestem. The hike begins at Mt. Creek Lodge at Pipestem Resort. The hike is conducted by the National Park Service in cooperation with Pipestem Resort State Park. Allow five hours for this hike.
