Mercer County Schools Menu Dec. 17-21

PRINCETON — The menu for the Mercer County Schools for Dec. 17-21 includes the following lineup. The cost for adult breakfast is $2.85; adult lunch is $3.75. There is no charge for student breakfast or lunch. Milk or extra milk costs 25 cents.

Three components are to be taken by students from the menu. For nutritional information, contact the Child Nutrition Department of the Mercer County Board of Education at 304-487-1551, ext. 255.

• Dec. 17 — Breakfast: sausage biscuit, fresh fruit or juice, milk. Lunch: oven fried chicken, rotini pasta salad, steamed broccoli, carrots w/ranch dip, fresh fruit, applesauce, milk.

• Dec. 18 — Breakfast: zucchini bread, yogurt, egg and Canadian bacon and cheese bagel,  fresh fruit or juice, milk. Lunch: toasted turkey and cheese sandwich, vegetable soup, oven roasted vegetables, fresh fruit, juice pop, milk.

• Dec. 19 — Breakfast: breakfast hot pocket, fresh fruit or juice, milk. Lunch: Holiday Dinner - baked ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, wheat roll, clementines, tropical fruit, raspberry sherbet, milk.

• Dec. 20 — Breakfast: pancake and sausage on a stick, yogurt, fresh fruit or juice, milk. Lunch: chicken quesadilla, pinto beans, sweet potato puffs, tossed salad, apple crisp, fresh fruit, milk.

• Dec. 21-Jan. 1 - No school; holiday break.
