Mercer County Schools Menu Dec. 3-7

PRINCETON — The menu for the Mercer County Schools for Dec. 3-7 includes the following lineup. Cost for adult breakfast is $2.85; adult lunch is $3.75. There is no charge for student breakfast and lunch. Milk only or extra milk costs 25 cents.

Three components are to be taken by students from the menu. For nutritional information, contact the Child Nutrition Department of the Mercer County Board of Education at 304-487-1551, ext. 255.

• Dec. 3 - Breakfast: wheat bagel w/cream cheese, applesauce, fresh fruit, milk. Lunch: chicken tenders, oven roasted potatoes, green beans, whole wheat roll, peaches in juice, fresh fruit, milk.

• Dec. 4 - Breakfast: apple strudel, cheddar cheese stick, scrambled eggs w/cheese and toast, fruit, juice, milk. Lunch: pig in a blanket, steamed borccoli, carrots w/ranch dip, fresh fruit, jellow w/fruit, milk.

• Dec. 5 - Breakfast: sausage and pancake on a stick, yogurt, fresh fruit, milk. Lunch: peanut butter and jelly or cheese sandwich, tomato soup, roasted mixed vegetables, spring salad mix, fresh fruit, tropical fruit in juice, milk.

• Dec. 6 - Breakfast: banana bread, yogurt, fresh fruit, milk. Lunch: Italian sub (ham, turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo), black bean salad, steamed California vegetables, fresh fruit, mixed fruit in juice, milk.

• Dec. 7 - Breakfast: whole grain cinnamon bun, string cheese, fresh fruit, milk. Lunch: bean and cheese burrito w/salsa and sour cream, Spanish rice, sweet potatoes, tossed salad, fresh fruit, fruit in juice, milk.
