Mercer County Schools Menu Nov. 26-30

PRINCETON — The menu for the Mercer County Schools for Nov. 26-30 includes the following lineup. Cost for adult breakfast is $2.85; adult lunch costs $3.75. There is no charge for student breakfast and lunch. Milk only or extra milk will cost 25 cents.

Three components are to be taken by students from the menu. For nutritional information, contact the Child Nutrition Department of the Mercer County Board of Education at 304-487-1551, ext. 255.

• Nov. 26 - Breakfast: Oatmeal w/fruit, zucchini bread, fresh fruit or juice, milk. Lunch: hot dog (2 dogs grades 9-12), baked beans, carrot slaw, fresh fruit, pineapple in fruit juice, milk.

• Nov. 27 - Breakfast: English muffin breakfast sandwich, whole grain cinnamon bun, fresh fruit or juice, milk. Lunch: ranch chicken wrap in wheat tortilla w/shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, caesar salad, fresh fruit, fruit in juice, milk.

• Nov. 28 - Breakfast: egg and cheese wrap, fresh fruit or juice, milk. Lunch: spaghetti w/meat sauce, tossed salad, steamed broccoli, garlic bread, fresh fruit, fruit in juice, milk.

• Nov. 29 - Breakfast: scrambled eggs and ham w/toast, cinnamon apple breakfast bar, Gogurt®, fresh fruit or juice, milk. Lunch: chili con carne, cornbread, pasta salad, cucumber and red bell pepper strips, fruit in juice, milk.

• Nov. 30 - Breakfast: sausage egg and cheese “taco”, fresh fruit or juice, milk. Lunch: chicken stir-fry, white rice, ginger-orange carrots, fresh fruit, fruit in juice, carrot cake, milk.
