PRINCETON —
The community is invited to join in celebration at Concord University’s Holiday Open House Tuesday, Dec. 4, 5-7 p.m. at University Point. Guests will be treated to an evening of seasonal music, refreshments and festive fun. There is no admission charge.
Student vocalists and musicians will perform throughout the gathering, and carolers will welcome guests outside of University Point as the evening’s activities get underway.
Featured artists, the ConChords, will perform from 5-5:30 p.m. in the Erickson Alumni Lounge; at 5:30-6 p.m. in the Wilkes Family Chapel; and at 6:30-7 p.m. in the John and Lucia Pais Family Fellowship Hall.
Also featured are Celtic selections at 5-5:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall and again from 6:30-7 p.m. in the alumni lounge. The jazz band will entertain in the chapel beginning at 6 p.m.
Adding to the charm of the evening is the Holiday Hall of Trees, which will be located in the fellowship hall. Each of these unique trees will feature the decorating talents of Concord University students, staff and faculty representing various departments and organizations on campus.
Holiday wassail and hors d’oeuvres are on the menu along with other festive goodies. Children’s activities and treats will be offered in the alumni lounge.
